Central unit for A-Series microphone units

ACen

The ACen control unit supplies all connected microphone units within the A-Series. All units are automatically configured and the digital audio signal is forwarded. The ACen includes all common microphone modes, including automatic, push-to-talk and request to speak, chairperson priority, and VIP management.

The ACen offers four RJ45 sockets for connecting up to 100 delegate units in total. Each output is supplied with voltage by its own power supply unit. In the event of a short circuit or failure of one line, the other outputs continue to operate undisturbed. As soon as a microphone unit is connected to the central unit, it is immediately ready for use without any further settings. The free ConfigTool is available for individual customization of the ACen. With the MicControl2 and CamControl2 software solutions, the microphone and camera systems can be conveniently managed and controlled via the ACen central unit.

For easy connection to other devices, the ACen is equipped with one analog input and five analog outputs. These balanced connections are designed as Phoenix terminals for quick and easy installation. Various microphone signals can be freely routed to the outputs via an internally controllable audio matrix. Each chain of microphone units is available as a separate audio signal, and chairman units can also be routed as a separate audio signal.
