The IRX infrared receiver is designed to receive up to 32 audio channels in the standard frequency band as well as in the extended frequency band. The use of a PLL (phase-locked-loop) synthesizer guarantees excellent transmission characteristics and equally high operational reliability.

The new generation INFRACOM receiver is now switchable between Band II and Band IV, allowing use even in direct sunlight, e.g. outdoors or where reception would normally be impossible due to excessive brightness.

The receiver is equipped with a 4-button control panel for volume adjustment and channel selection. The volume and channel are displayed on a backlit LC display, which is also used to show the system status or settings such as battery voltage, IR field strength and shift operation.

By means of the shift function, the channel grid can be shifted upwards as required in order to avoid interference from e.g. fluorescent lamps on the lower IR channels.

With the new charge control LED, it is now even easier to monitor the charging of the receivers.

Various battery-saving modes ensure energy-saving operation.
